LAURYN HILL
NEW YORK, NY
1997
“When I arrived on set of the music video production Retrospect for Life, the taping was in full swing. Lauryn and crew were handling all that needed to be accomplished, moving from scene to scene.
I had been watching Lauryn’s progress since 1993. From the Fugees, to her solo album, to record production for others, it made sense to me that she could and would now be directing as well.”
