NAS
NEW YORK, NY
1994
“Nas and I met at Columbia Records of 55th & Madison Ave, and walked down towards 53rd St. I wanted to capture something of Nas by the big Rolex clock (8’ tall) at The Torno watch store.
Nas embodied Hiphop, from the Nike sneaker to the bucket hat. My original idea wasn’t lining up, so we walked down to a small park on 52nd with a section of Berlin Wall on display.”
