OL’ DIRTY BASTARD
“I met up with ODB in the Lower East Side, where I wanted to photograph him on the roof on Avenue B and 2nd Street. When ODB arrived, he wanted to get his beard trimmed up prior to the shoot. Dirty had a car service drive us to Harlem, where his favorite barber Doc worked.
When we first got to the barber shop, I just hung out while Dirty got his trim. After watching them for a few minutes, I took out my camera and shot some frames of ODB and his barber’s interaction. When they were finished, I shot a few frames of Ol’ Dirty Bastard sitting in the barber chair. “
